Avalon Waterways Dining

The dining onboard an Avalon Waterways cruise is an extension of the typical sightseeing and touring experience. Each dinner includes the option of a regional delicacy or western favorite along with a complimentary local wine paired by an expert sommelier. Each sailing also includes a meal prepared by a local chef. 

• Early riser breakfast starts at 6 a.m.
• Breakfast buffet from 7 – 8:30 a.m.
• Late riser breakfast from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
• Lunch buffet starts at 12:30 p.m.
• Afternoon tea starts at 4 p.m.
• Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m.
• Night fare starts at 10:30 p.m.

Dining Room
The major meals will all be served in the Main Dining Room where you’ll get full hot breakfasts in the morning, afternoon tea around 4 p.m. and for dinner you’ll be delighted with a four-course meal where you’ll have the option of trying the regional cuisine or sticking to a classic American dish.
 

Sky Bistro on Sky Deck
Dine al fresco on the ship’s Sky Deck where you can have a light lunch or breakfast with a spectacular view.
 

Avalon Fresh
Sometimes healthy food can be boring, but not on Avalon Waterways. Curated by Austrian chefs and brothers, Leo and Karl Wrenkh, Avalon Fresh options use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create an unforgettable culinary experience.
 

Room Service
For those who prefer to lounge in their spacious suite in the morning, a continental breakfast with beverages can be delivered directly to your stateroom.
 

Panorama Bistro
Most Avalon Waterways ships have the casual dining options of the Panorama Bistro where you can get a lighter dinner like tapas style dishes and regional fare, and you’ll still have the great local wine to go along with your meal.
