Overview
Avalon Waterways’ Suite Ship, the Avalon Tranquility II provides an amazing floating paradise for your European river cruise. This graceful ship has two decks of Avalon’s signature Panorama Suites with wall-to-wall panoramic windows. If you can pull yourself away from your suite’s open-air balcony, there are plenty of beautiful public spaces to take advantage of, including the fitness center, whirlpool, hair salon, and more. Along with many of Avalon Waterways’ ships, the Avalon Tranquility II features a Sky Deck lounge area, onboard lectures, nightly entertainment, onboard experiences, and biking excursions in select destinations.

A great first experience for us with Avalon. We will definitely be using them again if we get back to Europe.
Pros: Rooms were well designed with plenty of storage. Staff was very friendly and focused on customer service. Food was fantastic!
Cons: Very little to complain about except be aware that most excursions involved a lot of walking. It may have been worse since we dealt with humid 90+ degree days.
