Food was excellent but the service was not up to the standards that we’re used to on Seabourne. Simple things like getting a 2nd cup of coffee, having water glasses refilled should not be something that requires hoping to flag down a server. The service at Solis was especially disappointing (you really shouldn’t have to exchange plates as many of us did) given the fact that it is supposed to be the exclusive dining experience on the ship.
Pros: Staff are incredibly nice
Cons: Dining service was not as good as on past trips

My first experience on Seabourn did not disappoint. The smaller luxury size cruise ship was perfect and made navigating the ship easy. It was.a joy to sail on a luxury level cruise where staff understood the guests and expectations. Being amongst like minded travelers made a huge difference when it came to meeting new people and enjoying nice conversation. Food was excellent, stateroom was a great size and the bathroom was the best I had experienced on a cruise with a large size and nice amenities. Bar options were vast with different places to drink, relax and mingle during the day and at night. The Asian itinerary was a huge draw and an easy way to see multiple Asian countries with ease. Vietnam and Halong Bay were standouts. And Seabourn's handling of necessary visa's made that easy and stressfree for us. Ease of embarkation at Singapore cruise port was a plus too. Great location from city hotels and convenient to Sonesta Island and tramway to enjoy activities before sailing.
Pros: Excellent staff, ship size, stateroom/bathrooom size and amenities, excellent food, Sushi specialty dining was exceptional, self serve laundry was a plus too.
Cons: While staff was excellent, cruise was the first after a 30 day crossing with no guests. Staff were still ironing out some kinks of working together as a crew. Nothing significantly major is this regard. Limited snack/dining later at night except for room service.

With only 1 port change because of Weather, Seabourn gracefully changed our excursion to Split from Korcula. We had a V2 veranda stateroom which was very comfortable and found that on the port side of the ship, we had the best views and weather. We ate in most of the restaurants on board and loved the food. Sushi was the best and if you are looking to eat at Solis, please reserve early and come early enough to sit at their bar for their specialty cocktails. Our room was immaculately serviced twice a day as was our bar/ice set-up. We never had to ask for a refresh as they anticipated our needs. We had caviar service in our room and they delivered a bottle of champagne - a very nice touch. You have to ask about the Galley and Bridge tours as they are not advertised, but available.
Pros: Service, food, cleanliness of stateroom
Cons: Shore Excursions not always as advertised.

This is my 2nd Seabourn cruise and they again did not disappoint.
Pros: The ship is lovely & small, the food is great and the staff are wonderful.
Cons: Greek port authorities in Piraeus held up embarkation. Not Seabourn's fault.

All the singers, musicians and dancers were fantastic. they belong on broadway. The cruise director Ross Robert made the cruise so much fun, he is a wonderful host, comedian, singer and overall does a wonderful job. The staff made us feel very special almost like family. Night at Ephesus was the highlight of the cruise.
Pros: service, food, entertainment
Cons: The public windows needed washing. Few items needed some patches or repair.
