• Visitors should definitely head to the Central Market, which is at Beresford Street. It is an indoor market, which was officially opened in the year 1882. It has been classified as a site of Special Interest and is immensely popular in the region. The market features Victorian architecture.
   
• 16 New Street is an eighteenth-century Georgian townhouse with additions from the 19th century. It was recently renovated by the National Trust for Jersey, which is a charitable organization and it is now a museum. Visiting the establishment is highly recommended.
