• History fans should pay a visit to the Castle of Charles the V, which was completed in 1525, but was then restored and further enlarged in the 17th century. The structure was later used as a jail in the 19th century until 1969. It is currently an art exhibition hall.
   
• Nature lovers should not miss the opportunity to visit Mount Saint Nicholas (faunal reserve). The reserve is found on the summit of a hill in the Murge plateau where a large number of endemic plants are kept for preservation and continued growth.
   
• Fans of archaeology should pay a visit to the Roman ruins found at Egnazia. Some of the buildings date back to 100 AD, but archaeologists state that there is evidence of habitation dating back to 1200 BC. The site tends to impress visitors to the area.
   
• The region has a fairly long coastline, which means visitors should get the opportunity to visit some of the beaches that face the Adriatic Sea. In addition, the area has some very beautiful beaches that are secluded for a more private relaxation experience.
