Overall … a great experience. Cruise Director James Love and his staff were amazing!!!
Pros: Staff, service, cleanliness, entertainment, activities, food selections
Cons: Water slides were always closed, pools too small, always too breezy to play golf

This is our 2nd vacation on the Sunshine. Have an 8 day booked on Feb 2024. This boat is the perfect size. Never had any problems getting an elevator. Crew and staff are dedicated and hard working. The Hub app made the daily schedule easy. Sometimes too many activities at the same times. Hard to make a decision. Food could have been better in MDR. The casino free drinks while playing was a fail. Sat for 2 hours at one machine and never saw a waiter at all. Lots of complaining about service in the casino. Had great embarkation and debarkation. Charleston has it going on. Wish they weren’t kicking Carnival out.
Pros: Hard working, friendly, and courteous staff and crew.
Cons: Sometimes fun things were scheduled at same time as early dining.

We had a fabulous vacation on the Carnival Sunshine!!!
Pros: Leon, the cruise director was the best! Housekeeping was great! All the wait staff and entertainment, and all activity personnel was fabulous!!!

We had a wonderful time aboard the Carnival Sunshine! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. This was our second time cruising with Carnival Sunshine and they did not disappoint! Just as awesome as the first time!
Pros: Great food, drinks, entertainment and service!
Cons: Wish the cruise had been longer :-)
