Overview
Viking Delling is one of Viking’s acclaimed Longships, named for the gods of Norse mythology. Delling is believed to be the god of dawn, and the ship provides several spaces to enjoy this magical time of day.
If you wake early enough, celebrate each day on your Viking river cruise by watching the sunrise from your bed. Or you could lounge on the sun deck with your loved one and a glass of champagne as you watch the sunset over a gorgeous European vista. Most staterooms have beautiful, large windows that either open up into French balconies or have a verandah sitting area.

Excellent service. Good crew
Pros: Every crew member is friendly and efficient. The boat was immaculate and in good condition. THe included excursions were well-executed and interesting.
Cons: Some of the tour guides had heavy accents and were hard to understand. The French, apparently, speak very fast and it would've help my comprehension of the accent if they had slowed down. On departure day as our bags were being loaded on the bus to the airport, we discovered that our fligh to Dublin would be three hours later, so we would've missed the two connections. We asked the staff member at the desk if he could advise us how to rebook flights and he said to check in with the airline at the airport. Not correct. Viking should've rebooked. We finally found a Viking phone number and got new flights but the guy at the desk could've at least given us that phone number.

I realize scheduling is important, but excursions are a bit early for when you are on vacation

Very supportive of my need to eat gluten free and went out of their way for me. Every morning they placed a gluten free croissant at my place for breakfast!
