All staff are very accommodating and friendly. Housekeepng staff called us by name from the moment we met them and throughout the trip, even when we weren't in the immediate area of our suite. Excursion glitch: When we arrived at our horseback ride excursion, we were told that Mexican law prohibited people older than 70 from participating. Regent personnel said they were not aware of this requirement. The itinerary was changed slightly (we did not go to Manzanillo and San Diego was added at the end) to avoid Hurricane Rosyln, a wise choice on the part of Regent, which didn't affect the enjoyment of our cruise.
Pros: Regent's attention to detail is top-notch.
Cons: One glitch with an excursion.

The staff aboard the Mariner was exceptional in every facet. Every crew member was courteous and willing to give whatever effort necessary to ensure that every client onboard would have the maximum enjoyment from their vacation investment. The housekeeping staff was awesome to state it mildly. I have never been treated with such professionalism and pride in their jobs. I would like to thank the Regent organization for putting together the mechanics of the experience which made every passenger onboard happy and proud to have had such an experience!
Pros: The itinerary was very well planned which allowed sufficient time to capture the grandness of the experience.
Cons: There were no moments or events in our cruise that we did not feel that we captured the moment of enjoyment in every way.

This was our 4th cruise on Regent. Overall a good experience, but slightly below prior cruises. On day of departure started getting symptoms of Covid so we have to assume we contracted it fom on board ship. Recovered but unfortunate.
Pros: Enjoyed the overall experience. The staff was helpful and courteous. Land excursions were good. Food overall was good.
Cons: Wifi marginal. Never could get any crispy bacon. Contracted Covid while onboard.

The Hilton Hotel in Anchorage room air conditioner never got below 81 degrees. This is the only glitch we had. Loved our butler Ash. Brought us coffee each morning. Ed our waiter in Compass Rose every night was so efficient. Claire in the breakfast and lunch La Veranda. I don't think the ship was full (I heard 400) so there was an abundance of crew which spoiled us. Overall, I wish I was back there right now.
Pros: All the crew was fun, friendly, and couldn't do enought for us.
Cons: All the hoops we had to go thru on line was not pleasant.

Overall trip was fantastic. Our only dilemma was our transportation from airport to hotel provided by Regent. Was a little disorganized so we opted to taxi to hotel after a 45 minute wait. Once we boarded the bus to our our port the following morning everything was very organized and smooth sailing. I would highly recommend this cruise line to anyone. Courteous staff, who after the first night knew your names and would greet with a friendly smile and great conversation.
Pros: Friendliest Staff members; luxurious rooms, restaurant choices, food, wine and spirit selections.
Cons: Airport arrival disorganized

I think this is a winner. It's a beautiful ship. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is excellent. AND for an itinerary where people really want to do great shore excursions (which really adds up) ---they are all included. AND they are good ones ! Every single shore excursion we chose was terrific and always seemed to have a $150-$200 per person value. They were top notch. All spirits, wine, sodas ----all included. AND you are offered excellent known brands. (They also try to remember what you drink !) Food selection is wonderful. Two specialty restaurants to make reservations for----no additional charge-----plus the "Lido" type restaurant turns into an Italian themed restaurant by night. You order off of the menu and are served......but you go to help yourself to the Salad and Dessert Buffet Selections. Entertainment is excellent. Lecturers are terrific. The fussiest people will find much to love about Regent. AND here is the big eye-opener. After two years of Covid and lots of cancelled sailings.......we spoke to a BUNCH of people who already have 5 or 6 Cruises BOOKED. It was amazing. There is obviously a pent up demand. AND Regent makes them HAPPY.
Pros: See all of the above !
Cons: Hmmmm. Ask for additional garlic in your Italian dishes in Seti Mari ...the Italian Restaurant. That's it........ALL I can find any fault with.
