Best experience ever. You can totally relax. There is no stress. Everything has been thought. Staff super friendly and guides very knowledgeable. Food amazing and changes every day. Rooms and beds comfortable will do again in future!

Highly recommend for beginning cruisers or experienced cruisers. Ship staff wonderful & caring. Food is fantastic. The excursions are very good & the guides are interesting & personable. With all The options you can have a nice relaxing vacation without a lot of extra expenses but still see the countries & learn about the areas or take as many extra excursions as you would wish & have a busy informative vacation. Great place to meet new couples & enjoy connections at meals & excursions.
Pros: Well organized with lots of information about what to expect & take along for excursions excursions, etc.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Compared to other river cruise lines I have travelled with, Viking did not include as much. The drinking package required both guests to purchase it, but my husband drinks and I do not. We had to change ships in the middle of the cruise because the river level was too low for our ship to pass through, but they handled the ship swap very well. The crew on the first ship was exceptional. The crew on the second ship was very good, but did not quite measure up to the Mani crew. We lucked out with great weather, although that contributed to the dryness of the river. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the towns we visited. We did a pre-cruise and a post-cruise extension and both had some good options. Our contacts for the pre- and post-cruise extension were also very good.
Pros: Mani crew were great, program director was excellent, food was wonderful, very accommodating of dietary restriction, great tours, beautiful scenery
Cons: Credit for lunch was restricted to use onboard and nonrefundable

Met many friendly people on board.
Pros: Wonderful, caring staff. Nice stops & side trips.
Cons: Only con was Strasbourg stop on a Sunday. Not much open. Would have liked free time to shop in Heidelberg.

This is the most wonderful vacation! Everything was far above and beyond expectations. Smiling faces and positive attitudes were so refreshing. The food was fabulous! The tour guides offered so much information, my favorite was the 89 year old with personal accounts of WWII……such a personal touch. Everyone was so happy to be out after all of the COVID shutdowns.
Pros: All inclusive cruise, friendly staff, wonderful food, breathtaking views, educational tours.
Cons: None!
