Had a most enjoyable cruise on Majestic for 3 weeks.. great waiters & best crew. No person was sick on this cruise because the crew cleaned, cleaned every day. You had to wash hands before going into MDR & Buffet. There was a crew member overseeing you as you entered. No person minded it. It was a great feeling not getting sick as some cruise ships had problems not Majestic. Music & wonderful shows every night. The Expresso Martinis were so delicious. Try one. We highly recommend Princess Majestic for your next cruise. Booked our flight thru Princess. We flew with Iberia. It was the best flight ever. Highly recommend.. Had a most enjoyable cruise vacation.
Pros: So beautiful, great food in Buffet & MDRs. Immaculately clean ship & rooms
Cons: None

We have taken Princess Cruises before and knew that service and experience would be topnotch, and we were not disappointed! We were well-taken care of, especially by our stateroom steward and all those on the dining staff we encountered. Most were Filipino, and they have always been friendly, helpful and engaging. Those in Photography, Cruise Staff and special entertainment guests we encountered were such a pleasure to meet and talk with as well. We were on a budget and were booked in an inside stateroom. We are older now (in our mid-50's) and we found that an inside stateroom is no longer comfortable for us. For our next cruise, we will likely budget for a stateroom the next level up.
Pros: Cruise staff throughout (Dining, Stateroom, Entertainment, General), Entertainment & Activities
Cons: Size of interior stateroom

Alaska is beautiful in September, and the weather was so nice! This is not a cruise to see the large glaciers from the ship like I had hoped. There is a glacier view in the itinerary, and the color of the water there was breath taking, however the glacier view is limited from the ship, and it was a bit disappointing. In general, the cruise was very enjoyable. Accolades to Harrison, a server at the Vino bar, was awesome!! He checked on us constantly, learned our drink preferences and was a 10 out of 10! Thank you for making our cruise more enjoyable! I cannot say the same for the service staff at the Piazza bar. The Cruise Director was fabulous!and so fun! There was fun/enjoyable activities and entertainment of some sort midship most of the time. The food was delicious! I did think that charging extra for a nice cut of beef in the Main Dining Rooms seemed a bit chintzy though. That said, there was a nice variety of entrees to choose from, and all were beautifully prepared. Our room attendant was very accommodating and met our every need. Our room was made up daily and fresh linens provided when needed. We had coffee served in our room every morning and they delivered like clockwork - Thank you! All in all, it was a great cruise that I would recommend to friends and family. The boarding process in Seattle was relatively easy, however it did involve asking staff members for direction. Each port process is different so it’s possible that Princess has no say in their operation. I would recommend getting there relatively early to avoid long lines. Our friends arrived 30 minutes after us, and it took them and additional hour to board. The Princess ap is a bit frustrating to use. It was challenging to navigate as there are only 4 tabs for direction, and a lot of guessing which one lead to what. It would be nice to have a more detailed menu with sub-services for each tab. It would also be nice to include a link for the latest “health and safety” guidelines due to Covid, (if possible) Also, it would help to identify the “Formal Nights” in the ship’s itinerary for cruisers to be prepared.
Pros: Entertaining
Cons: Limited

We had a fabulous trip. This was my husbands first cruise and he was hesitant! We had a fabulous time. Medallion service was easy, we had a balcony mini suite (highly recommend). Entertainment crew were all funny & awesome! Never met an unfriendly staff member. We went to Alaska cruisetour. Ports were amazing. Weather was what it is in Alaska some rainy days, very cold on glacier days even in August! The game shows were our favorite entertainment. food was excellent. We loved our staff at Concerto Dining room. Our room steward on Aloha deck very kind. Luggage was handled perfectly every step! Great cruise, staff & wonderful experience!
Pros: Entertainment staff, Dining staff, and ports
Cons: Too short!

I would warn first time cruisers not to overbook on shore excursions. I scheduled only one excursion per day and I can honestly say that I never felt rushed. Don't try to do everything - pick and choose - even with onboard activities. Take time to take in the views and wildlife. I would give the cruise six stars if that was possible. We will most definitely be back.
Pros: I didn't know what to expect on our first cruise but I think that going with Princess on our first has set the bar REALLY high from other cruise lines we might try in the future. Literally, everything we experienced on the Majestic was top notch. The staff loved what they did and you could tell that in conversations that we had with many of the staff from the dining areas to pool area to bartenders and our stateroom staff. Our very diverse crew went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience.e
Cons: I'll let you know if I can find one - oh wait - the cruise was over way too quickly.

We did 3 formal dining, I do have to mention all three times food was only lukewarm, but taste and presentation was lovely, and our staff was very attentive. Buffet was nice and there was a good variety.
Pros: Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. All was very organized. Travel from lodges was easy although by end of week we were tired of packing and unpacking. But that was just part of the trip. We loved traveling on the train up to Denali, we were in that 10% that saw the whole mountain. All the lodges were lovely ,I found everyone truely seemed to be happy to be there and asked how they could help.
