What Changed From Oceania Nautica?

The biggest shift is scale. Oceania Aurelia carries roughly a quarter fewer guests than Oceania Nautica, with nearly one crew member per guest. Suites make up around three-quarters of her accommodations (179 of 238), a much higher share than on Oceania's larger ships. The rebuild is part of OceaniaNEXT, Oceania's initiative to enhance the guest experience across the fleet, and it aims for a club-like, residential feel that borrows the open spaces of Oceania's newest ships and the warmth of a boutique hotel.

Suites and Accommodations

The suite collection blends updated favorites with new categories:

• Remastered: Owner's, Vista & Penthouse Suites
• New to the collection: Oceania Suites & Horizon Suites, plus Oceanview & Inside Suites as entry points
• Size: most suites exceed 300 square feet & the largest reach about 1,000 square feet

Oceania says suites come with dedicated butler service, though on the line's other ships that's typically a Penthouse-level perk and above. Ask which categories qualify when you book.

Dining and Bars

Menus are designed to echo the regions the ship visits, so dinner changes with the itinerary. The announced venues are the Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Toscana, Terrace Café, Waves Grill and a Pizzeria in the evenings. Baristas, Oceania's coffee venue, moves to Horizons, the signature panoramic observation lounge. Two stops join the lineup: a Bakery for pastries and European specialties, and a Crêperie for crêpes, waffles and gelato sundaes. The Founders Bar focuses on crafted cocktails.

Built for a Long Voyage

Sea days add up on a 180-day itinerary, so Oceania Aurelia puts real thought into what to do between ports. The Chef's Studio runs culinary workshops, the Artist Loft hosts creative sessions, and the LYNC Digital Center offers interactive classes. Guest speakers give talks on a range of topics. Every guest also has unlimited access to the Aquamar Spa Terrace. On Oceania Sonata, by comparison, the Spa Terrace is reserved for Concierge Level and above.
