Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) has just announced a game-changing benefit for cruise loyalty program members. Starting October 15, 2025, guests can have their loyalty status honored across all three NCLH brands: Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

What Is the Loyalty Status Honoring Program?

The new Loyalty Status Honoring Program allows members of Latitudes Rewards®, Oceania Club®, and Seven Seas Society® to maintain their loyalty tier benefits when sailing with any of the three NCLH cruise brands.

This cross-brand recognition allows access to over 700 destinations across 34 ships in the entire fleet!

How to Request Loyalty Status Honoring

Important: This benefit isn’t automatic—you must submit a request to have your status honored. Let our Cruise Experts at The Cruise Web take care of this for you, or continue reading to learn how to submit the request.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Active membership in Latitudes Rewards®, Oceania Club®, or Seven Seas Society®
  • The request must be submitted at least 10 days before sailing
  • Valid only for the specific cruise requested

Submission Process

Requests must be emailed to the brand you’re sailing with:

Required Information for Your Request

  • Reservation number and sail date
  • Ship name and brand of future sailing
  • Loyalty program number(s)
  • Full name and date of birth
  • Email address and contact number

Important Loyalty Program Benefits and Limitations

What’s Included

  • Standard tier benefits are fully honored across brands
  • Points accrue in the loyalty program of the brand you’re sailing with
  • If you hold multiple loyalty statuses, you’ll receive the highest applicable tier
  • Back-to-back sailings covered by a single submission

Milestone Benefits Exclusions

While standard tier benefits are honored, milestone benefits are excluded from cross-brand transfers.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • Norwegian Cruise Line: Complimentary 7-Day Cruise, One-time Free Cabin Upgrade, Special Ambassador Gift
  • Oceania Cruises: Free cruise
  • Regent Seven Seas Cruises: Ship Christening, Commodore Officer’s Jacket, Commodore Plaque on All Ships

When Does Loyalty Status Honoring Begin?

The program launches today for request submissions, with the first eligible sailings departing October 15, 2025. Your honored status will revert to your earned tier with that specific brand within 7 days of cruise completion.

Why This Matters for Cruise Loyalty Members

This program represents a significant shift in cruise industry loyalty benefits, allowing guests to:

  • Explore different cruise styles while maintaining status recognition
  • Access a broader range of itineraries and destinations
  • Experience luxury (Regent), premium (Oceania), and contemporary (Norwegian) cruising with consistent perks
  • Build loyalty across the entire NCLH portfolio

The Bottom Line: Is the NCLH Loyalty Status Honoring Program Worth It?

Yes! For frequent cruisers within the NCLH family, this program offers unparalleled flexibility to explore various cruise experiences while maintaining their hard-earned loyalty benefits. The 10-day advance notice requirement and milestone benefit exclusions are reasonable limitations for such a comprehensive cross-brand recognition system.
