Island of Mozambique, Mozambique Cruise Port

• One of the island's main visitor’s site is the Fort of Sao Sebastio. This structure is the oldest and complete fort that is still standing in the whole of sub-Saharan Africa. It was built between the years 1558–1608. It is located at the Northern end of the island.

• History buffs should be excited by the opportunity to visit the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Baluarte. It is located on the island's Northern tip. The structure was built in the year 1522 and is regarded to be the oldest European establishment located in the Southern hemisphere.
