Our trip to Alaska was everything and more than we expected. The Edge was our home for 7 glorious days. We can't say enough about the staff and their efforts to make us comfortable and happy. We loved all the activities and entertainment. Always something to do and that makes everyone happy. The swimming was fun and boy did we love the hot tubs. Our only rub was making dinner reservations. At one point one of the hostesses was actually rude and on the last night they put us at an uncomfortable table and the server was non attending to our needs and he kind of left us hanging. We think he was put out with our being in his station. I think on our part we should have made dinner reservations in advance but this was for sure a learning experience as far as dining. Our seating time was 6 and we always felt upon arrival as a bother. That was uncomfortable. Sorry. Other than that misfortune we loved everything about Celebrity Edge. The baristas were the best!!! Bradley entertained us with his best. Always made a us laugh and we looked forward to seeing him at our activities. He is your real star. The buffet staff were always so welcoming and so helpful. The selections of foods were right on and always very yummy and hot. Much appreciated. All in all we had a trip of a lifetime. All of our excursions made through Celebrity and all three excursions were well planned out and organized. This is second time with Celebrity and I know it will not be our last. Thank you Celebrity for making our trip so memorable.

Love the trip and loved the large windows for viewing all around the ship. Good food and service.
Pros: Solo cabin and dinner each night in a different dining room if you wished. Also loved the coffee and tea specialty cafe. Also loved the specialty restruant Roof Top Cafe, great steak.
Cons: Hard to understand the dining experience if you had never had it. They do not have a central dining room rather 4 separate dining rooms which need separate reservations or can walk up.

We have been cruising for more than 40 years. This experience on the Celebrity Edge was the cherry on top! We felt like royalty throughout our 33 days on board. Every day was a new adventure whether in port on an excursion or a day at sea. It was difficult to say goodbye to the ship and crew. An incredible cruise that blew the lid off our expectations.
Pros: A beautiful ship, friendly, capable crew, gregarious captain and officers
