Enjoyed sitting on top deck during what day light cruising time we had to enjoy viewing the landscape . Local guides did a nice job on the excursions.
Pros: Staff very pleasant, helpful, and remembered you and your special needs. Good selection of excursions at each port.
Cons: Cruising at night which could not be helped.

This cruise was great! We met lots of other passengers and had fun with all of them. The food was amazing and the staff was perfect, always smiling and asking what they could do to help. We will definitely cruise with Ama again!
Pros: The size of the ship allowed us to meet lots of fellow passengers
Cons: Time in ports was too short

We had a wonderful vacation on the Rhine River on the Amastella. The ship was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the food was great and the excursions were top-notch.
Pros: The people, our tour guide one day was Fredericka and she was wonderful as was another one from Atlanta, Georgia.
Cons: The guide we had in Riquewihr spoke way too fast and intermittently in French. Not sure if she realized she was doing it. Also two men said their wives were not on the bus and she took off anyway. Fortunately we passed them on the street and the bus picked them up.

Traveled AMA Waterways about 10 years ago. Had a good experience. The more recent one was even better. Excellent experience.
