Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed the innovative dining, wellness, and family experiences headed to Norwegian Aura.

Set to debut in the Mediterranean in May 2027 before sailing seasonal Caribbean voyages out of Miami, she brings a handful of firsts to the fleet, from a dedicated Indian restaurant to an industry-first sensory spa experience.

Dining Experiences Aboard Norwegian Aura

Norwegian Aura's culinary program spans 22 food and beverage options across more than 10 cuisines. Still, three venues define the ship's biggest dining stories: a new specialty restaurant, a reimagined complimentary dining room, and a redesigned signature main dining room.

Tamara, NCL's First Specialty Restaurant Dedicated to Indian Cuisine

Tamara started as one of the most popular stations inside Indulge Food Hall on NCL's Prima Class ships, and on Norwegian Aura, it graduates into its own dedicated specialty restaurant. Located on Deck 8, the space draws on the architecture of North Indian temples and courtyards, with warm earth tones, detailed tilework, and an open kitchen built around tandoor ovens.

The expanded menu leans into the dishes that made the food hall version a favorite: short-rib dosa, a rice-lentil crepe served with tomato sambar and coconut chutney, along with lamb biryani and a tableside green papaya salad.

Note: Tamara operates as specialty dining, so a cover charge applies. It will no longer be included in Indulge.

The Panorama Room, a Reimagination of Complimentary Dining

The Panorama Room gives a fresh take on what a complimentary main dining room can feel like. Located on Deck 6, the space uses large-format LED displays, layered audio, and lighting that shifts throughout the day. That means the room's atmosphere changes course by course rather than staying static like a traditional dining room.

It's included in the cruise fare, so there's no upcharge to dine there.

Hudson's and Other Returning Favorites

Hudson's remains Norwegian Aura's signature main dining room, now with an elevated redesign and sweeping 270-degree ocean views. Like the Panorama Room, it's a complimentary venue included in every guest's fare. A handful of other complimentary favorites are back too:

• Indulge Food Hall: now with nine global food stations, including a new Middle Eastern concept
• Surfside Café: expanded to span both sides of the ship

The Haven, NCL's keycard-access luxury suite complex, also gets its own redesigned restaurant and lounge, styled by longtime NCL partner Studio DADO around a calm, nature-inspired palette of earth tones and greenery.

Signature Thermal Suite Experiences

The two-deck Mandara Spa, designed by the award-winning architects, draws its look from nature: forest canopies, cave-like retreats, and cascading waterfalls set the tone throughout. At its center is the Thermal Suite, offering 15 wellness amenities centered on contrast therapy, allowing guests to move between warm and cool spaces.

The signature experience is the Sensory Rain Pool, a 360-degree space that shifts from calm water to a simulated tropical rainstorm, complete with lightning effects and rolling thunder. It's the first experience of its kind at sea.

• Blue Glow Suite: a soft blue-light experience designed to ease you back into vacation mode after travel
