Royal Princess is the first ship from Princess since 2008. The 3,600 passenger ship will serve as the line's largest and features a number of unique amenities and features like the SeaWalk, a glass walkway where passengers can look down to see the ocean underneath.

Royal Princess Highlights

    Among her highlights, the new Royal Princess will offer:

  • The SeaWalk is the Royal Princess's claim to fame. This is a glass-bottom walkway that extends 28-feet over the edge of the ship, giving passengers daring enough to walk through it quite a view. The SeaView Bar also extends over the ship for more stunning views.
  • The water and light shows will entertain guests near the pool deck. As water shoots 33 feet in the air and music pumps up the crowd, lights will dance around to create an amazing spectacle that will have passengers talking about it for weeks.
  • Also on the pool deck will be a 30 percent larger movie screen than on any other Princess ship. This feature serves as the focal point for Princess's Movies Under the Stars program, where passengers can sit in a chaise with a breeze in their hair and a drink in their hand as they watch a new release or a classic film. Or, if you want a bit more pampering the hot tubs offer great seating, and don't forget the complimentary popcorn.
  • In the expanded Piazza of the ship passengers can create their own blend of tea at the Tea Tower where a tea sommelier will advise you on tea flavors and drinking etiquette.
  • The ship will feature a TV studio, Princess Live! with entertainment from 8 a.m. to midnight. This space holds up to 300 people and will have intimate shows, games and let passengers meet the ship's entertainers.
  • Pizza is the name of the game at Alfredo's, which will now be the largest pizzeria at sea. With 121 seats passengers will have a wide selection of Neapolitan style pizzas, calzones, flatbreads and baked pasta. This feature is sure to be a hit.


Royal Princess Accommodations

    The Royal Princess has 1,780 cabins and 1,438 of those are cabins with a balcony, that's roughly 80 percent of all cabins.

  • Suites with Balcony (40)
    This stateroom comes complete with a bathtub and two 42-inch television screens. Passengers staying in these staterooms have access to the Concierge Lounge and receive complimentary laundry and cleaning services.
  • Mini Suite (306)
    This stateroom comes complete with a welcome glass of champagne, marble topped counters and a bathtub.
  • Deluxe Balcony (360)
    With a sofa bed and an upgraded duvet insert this room offers a bit more space for relaxing than the typical balcony stateroom.
  • Balcony (732)
    These rooms offer the essential amenities and two comfortable beds with beautiful views of the ocean.
  • Inside (342)
    These comfortable rooms include a refrigerator, closet, television and bathroom with a shower.


Royal Princess Dining

    Princess offers the Traditional Dining option, where you dine at the same time with the same tablemates, throughout the sailing. They also have the option of Anytime Dining, where you can eat at any location at any time during dinner. This option allows you to dine with different people at each meal.

    Two of the main dining rooms will feature new spaces for diners to enjoy. The Chef's Table Lumiere, a chance to dine where the table is surrounded by a curtain of light for a magical experience. The Wine Cellar is a table for 12 where you are surrounded by wine bottles and enjoy food that will be designed to pair with hand-selected wines.

  • Specialty Dining
    On the ship there will be two specialty-dining options for dinner. Sabatini's offers an Italian Ristorante with food rooted in the region of Tuscany. Featured menu items include lobster three ways, grilled veal chop and duck with fava beans. This restaurant is $25 per person. The Crown Grill has diners face the kitchen to see their meals prepared. The steakhouse offers Chilean Sea Bass, nine different steak or chop options and tasty sides like creamed spinach and corn casserole. The restaurant even lets you pick from an assortment of gourmet salts to compliment your meal. The Crown Grill is $25 per person.
  • Casual Dining
    From morning to night the Royal Princess will have a variety of food options available.
  • Horizon Court Buffet
    With multiple stations and 1250 seats, this is the place to go when you want a little bit of everything. The buffet will have Asian specialties, Mediterranean specialties, a salad tossing station and much, much more.
  • Horizon Bistro
    For dinner the Horizon Court will offer a chance to taste foods from special regions on themed nights. For instance you can experience the food of a Brazilian Churrascaria or a British pub, you can even try all types of fondues.
  • Horizon Court for Kids
    This is an area where kids can enjoy their favorite foods in a playful environment. This area lets kids play while parents are close by. This is also a spot where the Youth Center will host pizza parties and ice cream socials.
  • Alfredo's Pizzeria
    This is the largest pizzeria at sea, where you can pop in for a Neapolitan style pizza, calzone, flat bread or even a delicious baked pasta.
  • Gelateria
    The Royal Princess will boast the most Gelato options at sea too. The ship will have eight flavors of this creamy Italian alternative to ice cream. But the creations are endless, as passengers will have 20 toppings and sauces to combine for their favorite cold treat.
  • Vines
    Vines is a delightful wine bar that will feature tastes of Sabatini's dishes for you to try as you sip your favorite white or red.
  • Wheelhouse Bar
    During all sea days this is the spot to find your pub lunch, popular on other Princess ships. Port days bring a ploughman's lunch and fish and chips.
  • Outrigger Bar
    Located on the top deck this bar will offer margaritas to go along with made-to-order burritos, chips with fresh salsa and guacamole
  • Trident Grill
    This is the spot poolside where you can find hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches, but it will also feature a different barbeque dish each night, like chili, chicken wings or brisket.
  • Ocean Terrace
    This seafood bar has fresh fish and fantastic dishes. Here you can get oyster shooters, ahi tuna, and Balik Salmon, the salmon of the tsars.
  • Tea Tower
    Tea has been a favorite drink all over the world for centuries. Now you have the chance to make your own unique blend. The Tea Tower offers more than 250 tea varieties and a tea sommelier who will host special tea times and tea flights.
  • International Café
    A space in the Piazza, where you can grab a sandwich or a coffee and sit back to take in a show or just admire the space. The café will also feature pastries, paninis and Mexican tortas.
