In practice, this allows guests to take advantage of Princess Cruises' various onboard services from anywhere on the ship - shop from your stateroom, make dining reservations from your theater seat, or order drinks to be served at your next location! Plus, with Ocean Medallion, any of Princess Cruises' well-trained crew can better anticipate guests' needs or remember specific food and drink preferences.
The physical Medallion device is a small disc-shaped chip that guests keep with them in place of a traditional swipe card or room key. Every Medallion is unique to each guest, and they can be worn in a variety of ways - such as on a wristband or necklace - or simply carried in a pocket.
To start the Ocean Medallion experience, guests create and customize a simple digital profile, choose notification and privacy settings, and then relax while the perks of this seamlessly integrated experience unfold - beginning with a streamlined boarding process!
