Overview
Eigg is one of the small isles in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. The island is a wildlife refuge but is open to visitors that can reach the island by ferry. The Heritage Trust erected a new building to house shops and a tearoom for visitors to enjoy. Seal colonies inhabit the island's coastal waters, while dolphins and Minke whales also frequent the coast. There is an abundance of birds, plants and mammal, and visitors will be astonished by all that this island has to view.
