Overview
The MS Joy is one of Tauck’s custom-designed, state-of-the-art riverboats, built specifically for cruising the grand waterways of the Danube and Rhine rivers. This elegant ship offers a signature level of spaciousness and intimacy, accommodating just 130 guests—significantly fewer than most standard riverboats of its size. This limited capacity allows for highly personalized service and expansive public spaces.
The ship is renowned for its generous cabin sizes, with all but eight cabins being suites ranging from 225 to 300 square feet, and eight stunning 445 sq. ft. lofts. Most accommodations feature French balconies, while the lofts boast a unique window design that opens to a half-height railing. Dining includes The Compass Rose for flexible main dining, and Arthur's, a casual alternative restaurant.
Onboard, guests can enjoy a spa and fitness center, a massage studio, and a Sun Deck featuring a plunge pool and comfortable relaxation areas for enjoying the scenic European landscapes.

Nice vessel. Good food as well as wine and beverage selection. Compliments to chef and staff. Good cleaning staff Excellent service in dining areas All staff members willing to answer any questions you have Many cruise lines have nice vessels, but the Tauck / M/S Joy excelled in the area of well trained and helpful staff.
Pros: Excellent support from the crew and staff - food selection was good and waiter helped with wine and food selections.

Tauck’s river cruises are a delight in every way. The Joy was spotless, and supremely comfortable.
Pros: Onboard tour directors, excellent meals, friendly, hard working staff.
