Overview
The ms Andorinha is a custom-designed, 263-foot riverboat specifically for navigating the winding, picturesque Douro River in Portugal. Named for the swallow that returns to Portugal each spring, this ship is purpose-built to offer an intimate and spacious experience for a maximum of just 84 guests. It features elegant Portuguese craftsmanship throughout, with colors and patterns inspired by local decorative tiles and lighting fixtures designed to resemble vineyard vines.
Nearly two-thirds of the cabins are 225 square feet or larger, including 12 expansive Tauck Suites at 300 square feet, with most accommodations offering floor-to-ceiling windows and French balconies. Dining options include The Compass Rose for flexible, open-seating dining, and Arthur's, a casual venue that offers a unique experience with its pop-up location on the Sun Deck for al fresco dining. The Sun Deck is a major highlight, featuring a small swimming pool, comfortable loungers, and Balinese daybeds, all perfectly positioned for enjoying the UNESCO World Heritage Site scenery of the Douro Valley.
