This was my first cruise on Freedom of the Seas, after having cruised primarily Oasis class ships before. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the size of the ship felt in terms of being able to very easily get from one place to another. Another nice benefit I saw compared to Oasis class ships was the views of the ocean that many of the specialty dining and other venues like the Schooner Bar and Boleros had. All of those venues on the Oasis class are internal and don't have any view of the outside, and thus you can sometimes loose the feel of being on a cruise, and you miss the wonderful views during the times that you are in those places. The staff was always friendly and helpful, especially the stateroom attendant, Achmad, and many of the casino staff, including one of the pit bosses named Ace. I will definitely try to cruise on Freedom of the Seas again.
Pros: Recently amplified, so a lot of the modern and new features and venues. Great views in almost all of the venues. Unique helipad on the bow for even more unique viewing. Friendly and helpful staff. Great tasting food.
Cons: Cabins look a bit dated. Smaller, so not as many choices for specialty dining and complimentary dining.

We loved our Promenade interior rooms. They allowed us a bit more space and it felt more open. It was fun waving across to the other rooms as well. It was a great option for keeping the cost down and still having a nice stateroom. Everything was smooth from embarkation to departure. We did the Glass Bottom Boat snorkeling tour in the Bahamas and Dunn's River Falls & Blue Hole excursion in Jamaica. Both were fantastic!
Pros: Lots of great activities, CLEAN, great food, fun for all ages!

This cruise exceeded our expectations completely. The food was fabulous all around the ship, the entertainment options were plentiful and high quality, the guests were friendly as was the crew. A very enjoyable experience for sure!!

We went for our honeymoon and had a blast! There was so much to do that we were never bored! So many amazing memories made thanks to this vacation !
Pros: Events were well run, excretions ran smoothly, friendly staff, amazing meals
Cons: Weather was rainy the first 2 days but that is no one’s fault. The ship actually added more activities to the itinerary due to the rain!
