Rise early and travel to the Uluru sunrise viewing area to watch the first rays of the sun rise over the desert landscape. Be mesmerized by the changing colors of Uluru at first light and experience the wonder of the Australian Outback as the dawn emerges. Return to your hotel for breakfast before heading back into the National Park to visit the cultural center where you can learn more about the indigenous history and culture, and see traditional arts and crafts on display. After a walk along the base of Uluru, the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to do as you please. You may choose an optional tour through the resort. Today’s highlight is a full day tour to the Blue Mountains. After breakfast, drive to a wildlife park at the base of the Blue Mountains where you will be treated to a Koala Encounter (including photo). After some free time, continue to the Blue Mountains Lookout where you can admire the stunning landscape. Ride the Southern Hemisphere’s steepest Arial Cable car and take in the unparalleled views of the iconic Three Sisters and Katoomba Falls from the Skyway gondola.
