We had a wonderful time on our cruise. The staff was phenomenal, the food was delicious. The only main criticism is that for such a large ship and the number of people, there were not enough working elevators at any given time. One elevator and occasionally, two elevators were out of service at the different times causing an extended waits for extremely crowded elevators. My wife and I relied on taking ANY elevator, whether we wanted to go up or down just to be on one instead of waiting an inordinate amount of time for the preferred elevator to arrive.

Cons: Too few elevators for a large ship

Yay for pickleball courts, although they were quite busy. Food was exceptional as were the staterooms. Disliked walking through the casino on the way to dinner. Loved hearing the cruise director and his pronounciation of towns for excursions. Liked the team trivia during happy hour and met there most days to play and have a cocktail. A very enjoyable trip.
Pros: main room dining, happy hour, great stateroom, great water pressure in shower, very comfortable beds
Cons: hard to hear video sound in Lido pool area, need guidelines for taking turns on pickleball courts

The cruise was good and I would recommend it for those destinations. The average age was over 60, which was good because there were no rowdy crowds.
Pros: Clean, wonderful staff, food was good, helpful guest services
Cons: Internet was ok, excursions were too long and ok, too many days at sea

All in all it was a wonderful vacation experience. We love sailing with HAL! In fact we've already booked our next adventure to Asia with Holland America.
