Pros: First class all the way. Enjoy everything about the trip. Ship, staff, guide were all wonderful. And of course all the food and entertainment was too. Can't wait for next years trip
Cons: Didn't have enough time at the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Understand why, but its all I can come up with :)

An excellent vacation, not cheap but worth the cost given the adventure. I am almost 78 years old and did not have any problems. There were some passengers both older and younger who all seemed to hold up. That’s not to say you should not pace yourself. Whispers are provided for all tours and there were many. Looking back, my wife and I will have found memories. No regrets. I believe the best time for travel in Egypt is in December and February after which time it starts to get hot, real hot. The hotel we stayed in Cairo was the St. Regis. It is a true 5 star hotel and highly recommended.
Pros: Newly renovated ship; This time of year produced excellent weather (not too hot and some days a little cool); More staff to passenger count (great ratio); Little down time - plenty to see and do; Cruise Manager and Egyptologist with us each day (great knowledge of area
Cons: No problems with staff or ship; Long air flight times going from and coming back to the States; Drink only bottled water, even on board ship

I felt so appreciated being aboard the AmaLilia. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The cabin was comfortable and the ship intimate. It was like I was among family.
