What You Get
Priority Access

From the moment you arrive at the terminal to the moment you disembark, Club Orange members move through the ship differently. Priority check-in gets your voyage off to an unhurried start, and dedicated lines at Guest Services and Shore Excursions mean less time waiting and more time savoring.
Tip: Priority access extends beyond the ship too. Club Orange members receive priority access to tenders ashore in select ports and priority disembarkation at the end of your sailing.
Premium Dining

Dining is one of the most tangible Club Orange benefits, and it starts the moment you sit down for breakfast. Across all ships, the 24-hour room service menu is expanded to include complimentary mimosas and fresh orange juice, a small but welcome touch to ease into the day.
The dining upgrade deepens depending on which ship you're sailing.
Pinnacle Class ships (Koningsdam, Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam):
- Private dining venue exclusively for Club Orange members
- Expanded breakfast and dinner menu
- No reservations required
All other Holland America ships:
- Priority seating in the main Dining Room
- Expanded breakfast and dinner menu
- Greeted at an exclusive Welcome Desk and seated at the next available table
The dining upgrade deepens depending on which ship you're sailing. If you're not sure which class yours falls into, our Holland America ship classes guide is a good place to start.
Tip: On non-Pinnacle Class ships, reservations are still recommended during peak evening dining hours.
Exclusive Amenities

The amenities that round out Club Orange are less about where you go on the ship and more about how the whole experience feels.
A complimentary stateroom upgrade sets the tone before you even unpack, a welcome glass of sparkling wine greets you on embarkation day, and a dedicated concierge is available throughout the sailing to handle dining reservations, shore excursions, and spa appointments.
- Premium bathrobes for use during your cruise
- Club Orange keycard
- Club Orange tote bag (one per stateroom)
Special Events
Once onboard, Club Orange members receive an invitation to a special event selected by the ship's Captain.
Past events have included a private Greenhouse Spa & Salon consultation, complimentary jewelry cleaning, and a coffee chat with onboard entertainers. The specific event varies by sailing and is revealed after boarding.
Is It Club Orange Worth It?
Club Orange is not a one-size-fits-all upgrade, and its true value depends heavily on how you prefer to spend your time onboard.
It earns its value most for guests who:
- Prioritize a seamless, unhurried pace. You will notice the difference immediately at the pier, at Guest Services, and when boarding shore tenders.
- Love the Main Dining Room experience. On Pinnacle Class ships, the dedicated private dining venue is a genuine highlight with no reservations required. On all other ships, bypassing the peak-hour lines via an exclusive Welcome Desk is a massive perk.
- Want a dedicated concierge. Perfect for guests who want a direct line to someone who can effortlessly handle dining, shore excursions, and spa bookings onboard.
- Are sailing longer than 13 days. At this duration, the daily rate drops from $25 to a highly reasonable $15 per person, per day.
If you plan to eat entirely at specialty restaurants, you won't use the Club Orange private dining rooms. However, the program still grants you priority access to specialty restaurant reservations and priority on waitlists if your preferred dining time is fully booked.
If you want those dining perks plus the priority airport/tender lines and the stateroom upgrade, it can still be worth it. But if you only care about the food and already have your reservations locked in, your money might be better spent skipping Club Orange and looking into Holland America's Have It All package instead.
Good to Know
Book early. Club Orange is capacity-controlled and sells out. It cannot be purchased once you've boarded.
Cancellation fees apply. Club Orange is added to your total cruise fare, and standard cancellation policies apply.
Non-alcoholic option available. If you don't drink alcohol, Holland America will provide a non-alcoholic beverage in place of the welcome glass of sparkling wine on embarkation day.
Bathrobes stay onboard. The premium bathrobes are for use during your cruise, but they can be purchased and monogrammed if you'd like to take them home.
Dining is exclusive. Non-Club Orange guests cannot join you at the private dining venue. The concierge can assist with separate reservations.
Specialty restaurants are not included. Club Orange provides priority access when your requested time is fully booked, but specialty dining is still an additional charge.
