Azamara Cruises recently announced they are shaking up their onboard entertainment options with three new concepts. Shows from Feinstein’s 54 Below, Magic City Opera, and City Theatre are scheduled to debut in February 2018 on Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, and on Azamara Pursuit after her inaugural sailing in August 2018.

“We look forward to providing guests with vibrant onboard entertainment to enhance their experience while sailing with us. Our new entertainment launch will bring to life classic and short plays, along with short operas and shows, by using music, Broadway stars and entertainers that engage and enthrall their audiences,” said Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Azamara Cruises.

The New Shows

54 Below at Sea

One of New York City’s most famous cabaret clubs is bringing their show to the sea! Top cabaret stars, comedians, and instrumentalists are bringing their talent to Azamara Cruises. These performances will be in an intimate setting that fully engages the audience. Truly something that should not be missed.

City Theatre

Experience one of Miami’s best acting troupes right on board your Azamara Cruise. The City Theatre troupe performs ten-minute plays that draws the audience through different emotional responses – from laughter to tears to introspection.

Magic City Opera

This is a modern take on the classic short opera vignette. The audience will delighted by the blending of music, drama, visual and literary effects. The Magic City Opera considers the show to be a social event and encourages the audience to mingle after the show to discuss the experience.

Of course, the traditional entertainment that Azamara Cruises is known for will continue. Live local entertainment, movie nights, AzAmazing Evenings, White Night Celebrations, and more are still part of the experience.
