Thank you all for being part of another wonderful year for The Cruise Web. We're well aware of the fact that none of what we accomplished this year would be possible without our loyal clients, and we're truly appreciative. Here's hoping the best is yet to come.

Travel Tips!
It's that time of year again. The falling leaves will soon be replaced with white, cotton-soft snow. Blinking lights now playfully animate our evening drives home. Families travel long distances to be with the ones they love, even if only for a little while. But for some of us, the holidays are the best time of year for a different reason. The holidays give us yet another gift - the gift of time off, and an opportunity to get the heck out of Dodge (thank you, Santa).
For those of us ready for a break, and keeping our Travel Tips theme in mind, I offer you a few of my own "real life" cruise tips (all of these tips coming from rather humorous personal experiences). Consider this my holiday gift to you. Enjoy.
1)  A great way to stay in shape during your vacation is to visit the ship's gym. I've never seen one in person, but I've heard they are nice. Read More»

This month, we want to take you behind the curtain, and introduce you to Seth Woodward. Seth is our Senior Marketing and Operations Coordinator at The Cruise Web. This means that Seth helps update our website, designs and distributes our weekly cruise specials and helps keep our consultants up to date with the best deals our cruise lines have to offer.
Seth joined The Cruise Web after graduating from the University of Maryland with a bachelors in Marketing and Finance. While attending Maryland, Seth interned at the SEC and at an advertising agency to see which field he enjoyed most. Marketing, and then The Cruise Web, won out. "I enjoy marketing for The Cruise Web because there are a lot of different responsibilities, and each comes with its own set of challenges." Seth explains, "On any given day, I could be coding script for our website or doing graphic design one minute, and then creating marketing collateral and writing copy for our newsletter the next."
With all of the different duties that Seth performs for The Cruise Web, we wanted to find out which task he enjoys the most. "I really enjoy going through The Cruise Web banner pictures that our clients send in for our 'Photo of the Month' gallery. It's a great reminder of what our business is all about - putting our clients on the best cruise possible." And what's the one responsibility he never thought he'd have? "Creating the graphics for the user submitted captions. While it's not something I ever thought I'd do, I've really enjoyed exercising my creativity."

Tips for Travelling with Children
By Julie Atkins, Manager of Client Services and Group Administration |
Cruising with young children is such a rewarding experience - one that I encourage all families to take part in. However, most anyone with kids knows that travelling with youngsters presents its own set of challenges. It's for this reason that I'd like to share my tips for travelling with young children. What follows is a collection of handy tips and tricks I've learned along the way.
My daughter's first trip was when she was seven months old and I took her to England and Portugal. Erin wouldn't remember any of it, except she was crawling age and wanted to crawl around the plane...
