It's a significant stop along the Plenty Highway, which forms part of the "Outback Way" – an epic, mostly unsealed route connecting Queensland to Western Australia through the heart of the continent. Far from any coastline, Tobermorey truly represents the Australian outback.
This expansive pastoral lease, covering approximately 6,000 square kilometers (1.8 million acres), offers a unique insight into the scale of Australia's agricultural industry and the rugged beauty of its central desert landscapes.
