For a change of pace from the town and the bay, consider a jeep tour into the surrounding Atlantic Forest. These tours often take you to local cachaça distilleries and to beautiful, refreshing waterfalls, such as the famous Tobogã Waterfall, where you can slide down a natural rock formation.
