Tip: Plan your visit here for early in the day or later in the afternoon for the best viewing light and smaller crowds.
For a peaceful natural break, visit Manatee Sanctuary Park in nearby Cape Canaveral. This park offers a 10-acre protected habitat along the Banana River, where you can often spot Florida's gentle sea cows, the manatees, especially during the cooler months when they seek warm waters.
