Tip: At the top of Mount Hoven, there are several marked hiking trails, as well as a restaurant and an outdoor viewing platform.

Tip: Many excursions combine a visit to this lake with a trip to the Kjenndalen Glacier.
For a relaxing and charming tour of the village and its immediate surroundings, hop on the Olden Land Train. This guided tour takes you on a scenic route through the village and countryside, offering a narrated commentary on local history and culture.
Tip: The train departs directly from the cruise pier and is a great option for a less strenuous, family-friendly tour.
Experience the fjord from a different perspective by getting out on the water. Join a guided kayaking tour for a peaceful paddle on the calm waters of the Nordfjord, or opt for a high-speed RIB boat tour for a thrilling and fast-paced adventure, getting up close to waterfalls and cliffs.

For a rewarding challenge, hike to the Huaren Viewpoint high above the village. The trail, though steep in parts, is well-marked and offers a spectacular reward with panoramic views of the entire fjord and your cruise ship far below.
