Depending on the time of year, Narvik offers a chance to experience one of two natural wonders. In summer (late May to late July), the Midnight Sun provides daylight around the clock. In the winter (September to March), the dark skies offer a prime location to view the mesmerizing Northern Lights.
Tip: For the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights, you must be there in the winter and get away from city lights. The summer midnight sun is visible from anywhere with a clear view north.
