Overview
The NamibRand Nature Reserve, located in southwestern Namibia, is one of the largest private reserves in Southern Africa, covering over 200,000 hectares of protected desert. Established in 1984, it was created to conserve the unique ecology of the Namib Desert, integrating former livestock farms into a pristine wilderness.
