Your knowledgeable naturalist guide will lead you through the nutrient-rich waters to spot these magnificent creatures, along with other marine life like orcas and sea lions.
Tip: Bring a camera with a good zoom lens, but also take time to simply put the camera down and fully experience the awe-inspiring sight of these giants.
Step into the past at the beautifully preserved Historic 1912 Cannery and Museum. This building, the heart of Icy Strait Point, offers a fascinating look at the region's salmon canning industry and its importance to the local community's history and economy.

Ride the Sky Peak Gondola for an all-day, scenic pass that offers a bird's-eye view of the stunning Tongass National Forest, Port Frederick, and the surrounding mountains. At the top, you can explore nature trails or simply take in the magnificent views.

Tip: Remember that bear sightings are not guaranteed, but the journey through the lush Alaskan wilderness is an adventure in itself.
Take a 1.5-mile walk along the paved path from the port to the largest Tlingit village in Alaska, Hoonah. This small, working town offers a more authentic glimpse into local life, with a few shops and a strong sense of community.
