Huế (pronounced "Hway") is a historic city in Central Vietnam, serving as the imperial capital of the Nguyễn Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. Immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of Dong Ba Market, Huế's largest and oldest market. You'll find everything from fresh produce, seafood, and spices to clothing, handicrafts, and local souvenirs. It's a fantastic place to experience local life.
Tip: Practice your bargaining skills and be prepared for a sensory overload. It's a great spot to try local street food.
Enjoy the more relaxed side of Huế by cycling or walking along the Perfume River's banks. You'll find pleasant promenades, local parks, and charming cafes, offering a different perspective of the city's relationship with its famous waterway.
