Discover the majestic beauty of the Colorado National Monument, a sprawling park just a short drive from downtown. Drive the scenic Rim Rock Drive, with its breathtaking views of towering monoliths, deep canyons, and vast desert landscapes. You can also hike numerous trails to get a closer look at the unique geology.
Tip: Stop at the visitor center to learn about the park's geology and history, and be sure to bring plenty of water, as the desert climate is very dry.
