Explore the Frederikshavn Church, a beautiful brick building with intricate carvings, and the Sand-Covered Church (Den Tilsandede Kirke), a significant historical site near the port of Skagen. This church was slowly buried by sand dunes over centuries, with only its tower now visible.
Tip: Visiting the Sand-Covered Church requires a short trip outside Frederikshavn, but it is one of the most unique landmarks in the region.
