K'gari (formerly known as Fraser Island) is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site located off the southeastern coast of Queensland, Australia. Due to its unique sandy composition, K'gari is not a port where large cruise ships can dock directly. Keep an eye out for dingoes, K'gari's native wild dogs, which are part of the purest strain remaining in Australia. They can often be seen along the beaches and in more remote areas.

Explore the eerie and photogenic remains of the S.S. Maheno shipwreck, a former trans-Tasman liner that ran aground on 75 Mile Beach in 1935. It's a significant landmark and a popular stop for tours.
