Overview
The Farne Islands are an archipelago of rugged, treeless islands and rocks located off the coast of Northumberland, England, just a few kilometers southeast of the fishing village of Seahouses. Administered by the National Trust, these islands are one of the United Kingdom's most important wildlife sanctuaries, internationally renowned for their enormous colonies of nesting seabirds, including the iconic puffins, guillemots, razorbills, and terns. They are also home to a large population of grey seals.
