• Within Kraków's Old Town, you'll find the Main Market Square. Dating back to the 13th century, it's one of Europe's largest medieval town squares with historic townhouses, churches, and monuments. There are plenty of shops and food around the square, and the towers from St. Mary's Basilica provide a heavenly backdrop.

Built at the command of Casimir III the Great, the castle and Wawel Hill together make up one of the most historically and culturally important sites in Poland. Today, the castle is one of the country's premier art museums.
