Enjoy your retirement, your way and see the world!
Kingston upon Hull, or simply Hull, is a port city in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Receiving its first charter in 1299, Hull’s Old Town retains some medieval architecture and patterns. Holy Trinity Church, the oldest parish in England, dates back to the 14th century and has been maintained in order to always welcome visitors. Humber Bridge leads into the city and remains one of the world’s longest single-span bridges. The Port of Hull, in use since at least the 13th century, is located at the meeting of two rivers, Hull and Humber. Because it’s the biggest settlement in East Riding, Hull is a beacon for retail shoppers. Many major department stores are located near the harbor and throughout the city alongside three main shopping centers and a number of smaller retail parks. In 2016, project “Green Port Hall” began introducing a wind farm and other measures to make the region more eco-friendly.
