Helsingor, Denmark Cruise Port

• One of the city's top attractions is the Kronborg Castle that was made a popular destination because of being mentioned in Shakespeare's Hamlet, where it was referred to as Elsinore. The castle is of historical significance as it dates back to the 1420s.
   
• For a unique touring experience visitors should visit the Danmarks Tekniske Museum, better known as the Technical Museum of Denmark. It is housed in a former iron foundry that covers 8,000 square meters. It has exhibits of cars, airplanes, and a variety of inventions; most being of Danish origin.
   
• Visitors interested in the architectural heritage, religious background, or history of the city should pay a visit to Helsingor Domkirke, better known as the Saint Olai Church. It is a red brick cathedral built in 1559, which towers over the city's medieval center.
   
• The Marienlyst Slot, which is better known as the Marienlyst Palace, provides a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the spectacular vista while learning more about the city's history. The palace dates back to the 16th century when it was originally built as a pavilion for the King.
