Ahe, French Polynesia Cruise Port

The small island of Ahe, French Polynesia is the perfect spot to get away from everyday life and relax in the sun. The island is a coral atoll, a ring shaped coral reef that sometimes forms around extinct volcanoes. This small island has very few inhabitants, and thus provides a very private feel for its visitors. In the lagoon lie several pearl farms where you can take a tour and buy straight from the farm. This lagoon is the only break in the atoll, accessible via a small passage. The atoll is part of the King George Islands that include Manihi, Takapoto, Takaroa and Tikei.
