The Dendera Temple Complex is an ancient Egyptian site on the west bank of the Nile River, north of Luxor. The main Temple of Hathor, largely from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, is one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. It is famous for its intricate carvings, vibrant colors, and unique astronomical ceilings.
