Overview
Curaçao is a vibrant Dutch Caribbean island renowned for its stunning, pastel-colored colonial architecture in the capital city of Willemstad, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the historic Landhuis Chobolobo, a 19th-century mansion that serves as the home of the famous Blue Curaçao Liqueur. Take a tour to learn about the distillation process of this iconic orange-peel liqueur and enjoy a tasting.
Tip: It's a short taxi ride from the port and offers a unique insight into a product synonymous with the island.
For nature lovers, a visit to Shete Boka National Park on the island's rugged northern coast offers dramatic coastal scenery. Witness powerful waves crashing into "bokas" (inlets), creating natural bridges and blowholes like Boka Tabla.
