Take a short trip inland to the picturesque village of Alaçatı, famous for its beautifully preserved stone houses, narrow cobblestone streets adorned with bougainvillea, and traditional windmills. Alaçatı is also a world-renowned destination for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Tip: Alaçatı is about a 15-20 minute drive from Çeşme. Explore its charming boutiques, art galleries, and cafes. If you're there on a Saturday, don't miss the vibrant local market.
Indulge in the delectable Aegean cuisine that Çeşme is famous for. Enjoy fresh seafood, a variety of meze (appetizers), and local specialties like kumru (a warm sandwich with cheese, sausage, and tomato) and desserts made with gum mastic.
