Berwick-upon-Tweed is located at the most northerly tip of Northumberland in England, just south of the Scottish border. Berwick s Elizabethan walls and famous bridge, The Royal Border Bridge, are evidence of its tempestuous past of border wars between the kingdoms. Visitors can walk the dramatic walls and enjoy the spectacular views across the River Tweed and tour the historic town.
