Viking Oceans Accessibility
Viking Ocean Cruises tries to reasonably accommodate special access needs, but they cannot guarantee that they will be able to do so in all cases. Guests with disabilities are encouraged to cruise aboard Viking Oceans’ voyages with the understanding that there may be some difficulties onboard, or when going on shore in ports with cobblestones or other difficult landscapes. The cruise line asks that those with disabilities travel with another adult who can assist them as the crew is unable to provide this help.
Please request the proper accessibility form for you and your doctor to review, sign and submit to Viking Ocean Cruises. Passengers are requested to advise Viking in writing, at or prior to the time a cruise tour is booked, of any conditions—physical, emotional or mental—which may require professional attention during the cruise tour, such as a passenger requiring the use of a wheelchair or other mobility equipment (which is not to exceed 22” in width).
Passenger must bring and be solely responsible for any necessary items related to all medical conditions or mobility challenges. If a mobility, physical, medical, emotional or mental condition arises after the cruise tour is booked, the passenger is advised to notify Viking in writing as soon as possible.
For guests with dietary restrictions, it is best to inform the cruise line 90 days prior to embarkation of your needs and follow up with the maître d’ when onboard.
