Le Bougainville, one of Ponant's Explorer Series small yachts (partnered with Tauck), was built in 2019, emphasizing sophisticated styling and "green" technology.
Dining options include an elegant main dining room serving French and international cuisine, and a casual restaurant for grilled specialties and salads. A unique feature is the Blue Eye Lounge, the world's first multi-sensory, underwater lounge. Other amenities include a main lounge with a bar, a 188-seat theater for lectures and entertainment, a panoramic lounge, a spa, and a fitness center.
All staterooms and suites (95% of which have private balconies) are decorated by French designers and feature ocean views, luxury bedding, and a minibar, with all beverages from soft drinks to house wine and spirits included.
